The Grade 2 students spent the week preparing for the Student-Led Conferences (SLC) evening. The evening was a chance for the students to present the concepts and themes that they had learned over the school year. There was also an opportunity for reflection and planning for the future. The students reviewed the goals that they set earlier in the school year and planned for the areas that require improvement in the coming school year. The fact that their cherished parents were their unique audience makes the experience so much more special. Thank you to all the families for coming to support our second graders, not just on SLC night, but every day throughout the school year. The students beamed with pride as they took a moment to absorb all the learning, growing and stretching they have done this year!
Congratulations to a group of our Grade 2 students for being part of the English Football Cup winning team! Way to go, boys!
One of the students will be celebrating his birthday during the Summer break, so he kindly brought some gifts to celebrate with his classmates!
